The Architectural Services Department's simple public housing project consists of single 18-storey buildings, with aluminium window supply covering an area of 7,636㎡ and a total of 4,266 windows, scheduled for delivery in 2025. The project includes the design and supply of aluminium windows specifically for MiC prefabricated units, with enhanced anti-corrosion treatment for aluminium materials in response to the high salt spray environment of Tuen Mun's coastal area, and optimised window sash sealing structure to improve waterproof and moisture-resistant performance. Standardised window types are adapted to uniform unit layouts, with factory-prefabricated components greatly reducing on-site wet work, supporting the Hong Kong Government in the rapid implementation of the simple public housing supply plan.
