On 9 September 2025, the fourth drafting meeting of the Guangdong Province Construction Engineering Green and Prefabricated Development Association's Group Standard 'Quality Evaluation Standard for Concrete Building Module Production Enterprises and Product Supply' and the second drafting meeting of the 'Quality Evaluation Standard for Steel Structure Building Module Production Enterprises and Product Supply' were held at AluHouse.

Cao Dayan, President of the Guangdong Provincial Construction Engineering Green and Prefabricated Development Association, Wu Weili, Executive Deputy Secretary-General of the Association, Feng Liping, Deputy Secretary-General of the Association's Technology and Digitalisation Committee; Xu Qigong, Chief Consultant and Provincial Survey and Design Master of Guangdong Guangjian Design Group Co., Ltd.; Zhang Yanxin, Deputy Chief Engineer of China State Construction Fourth Engineering Division, Chen Kai, Director of the Engineering Technology Research Institute of China State Construction Fourth Engineering Division; Li Huakun, Chief Engineer of China State Construction Science and Technology Group Green Technology Co., Ltd.; Tang Yungang, General Manager of AluHouse; Yang Yongmin, President of Zhongkai University of Agriculture and Engineering, along with other leaders and the organising hosts, attended to guide the preparation work, and over 40 compilation experts attended and visited the AluHouse modular building factory.

The chief editorial units of the "Quality Evaluation Standards for Concrete Building Module Production Enterprises and Product Supply" are China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau Co., Ltd., Guangdong AluHouse Technology Co., Ltd., Guangzhou Bay Area Construction Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Co., Ltd., Zhuhai Ruizhu Construction Technology Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Prefabricated Building Design Institute Co., Ltd., with 17 co-editing units including Guangdong Jianyuan. The chief editorial units of the "Quality Evaluation Standards for Steel Structure Building Module Production Enterprises and Product Supply" are China State Construction Engineering Corporation Green Technology Co., Ltd., Guangdong AluHouse Technology Co., Ltd., and Guangdong Prefabricated Building Design Institute, with 8 co-editing units including China State Construction Third Bureau First Company.

During the morning and afternoon drafting meetings, the participating experts reviewed and discussed the overall framework and provisions of the two draft standards. They offered numerous constructive comments and suggestions on aspects such as the evaluation objects, evaluation content, evaluation methods, indicator weights, chapter structure, wording of provisions, as well as the applicability of the standards, guidance covering the relevant professional modules in construction, and the industry significance following the implementation of the standards. This has paved the way for subsequent drafting work and further clarified the drafting approach.

During the visit, accompanied by the AluHouse management team, the experts from the preparation team first toured the company's digital cutting workshop, module assembly production line, quality inspection centre, and finished product display area. AluHouse technicians provided a detailed introduction to the company's latest practical achievements and technological innovations in the fields of green building, intelligent construction, BIM technology application, and prefabricated construction.

The team of experts showed great interest in aspects such as intelligent robot welding, digital management systems, and modular hoisting processes. After learning about AluHouse's practical experience in multiple modular construction projects in the Greater Bay Area, the experts acknowledged and highly praised AluHouse's technological advantages in rapid construction, low-carbon environmental protection, and removable recycling.

This time, the two standards meetings will be held concurrently, allowing for the exchange and expansion of compilation ideas; by adopting an on-site enterprise inspection model, we can accurately grasp enterprise needs and industry trends, integrating practical experience into standard formulation to enhance the practicality and industry recognition of the standards.
