On 12 May 2025, the "International Forum on Sustainable Development · Hong Kong 2025" and the "Hong Kong Green and Sustainable Contribution Awards 2025 Ceremony" organised by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency (HKQAA) were grandly held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

AluHouse, with its outstanding contributions to promoting efficient building applications, has been awarded the "Outstanding Contribution to Livable City Architecture" in the category of outstanding livable city construction. Aluminium House has continuously won this award for three consecutive terms through its ongoing exploration and practice in the field of efficient buildings, earning widespread acclaim from all sectors.

This conference, themed "Seizing Green Finance Opportunities under the Low-Carbon Transition of the Belt and Road Initiative and the Greater Bay Area", brings together numerous distinguished figures from the Belt and Road International representatives, Hong Kong government, enterprises, and academia.

Mr Nicholas H.T. Tse, Secretary for Environment and Ecology of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government, Mr Christopher Hui, Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury, and Mr Eric Ho, Chairman of the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency, together with other guests, attended the meeting and delivered speeches, jointly exploring future pathways for green and sustainable development.

At this Sustainable Development Forum - Special Forum, several industry leaders delivered in-depth speeches and engaged in discussions on "Promoting Green and Efficient Buildings and Strengthening Bay Area Supply Chain Collaboration," sharing their experiences and practices in the application of efficient buildings and supply chain development in the Greater Bay Area.

Mr Robert Lo, Director of AluHouse, delivered a keynote speech titled 'Innovative Practices and Ecosystem Development of MiC Supply Chain Collaboration in the Greater Bay Area' at the conference forum, sharing in depth AluHouse's successful experiences in the application of MiC technology and industry chain integration.

Mr. Robogee pointed out that AluHouse, by integrating the upstream and downstream service chain of MiC, has created a one-stop solution covering the entire process from design, production, transportation, installation to post-maintenance, significantly improving construction efficiency and resource utilisation. This model not only shortens project cycles but also greatly reduces carbon emissions, promoting the development of green buildings in the Greater Bay Area.

Mr. Robogi emphasised that AluHouse, leveraging its comprehensive supply chain integration capabilities across the talent chain, service chain, manufacturing chain and logistics chain, has developed an efficient 'combination strategy', successfully establishing the core competitive advantage of the enterprise.

In addition, AluHouse achieves a transformation from traditional construction methods to industrialised and digitalised building through collaborative innovation in multi-structure modular integrated construction. Over the past five years, AluHouse has delivered more than 70 projects in Hong Kong, providing over 26,000 modules covering public housing, minimalist housing, schools, hospitals, transitional housing and other sectors.

This award represents the result of AluHouse's long-term efforts in the field of green building. In the future, the company will use this honour as motivation, uphold the construction philosophy of 'innovation, collaboration, and sustainability', continue to deepen cooperation in the Bay Area, further optimise the application scenarios of MiC technology, explore the deep integration of innovative technologies with low-carbon construction, and contribute more to the global green building industry.
