On 8 April, the completion ceremony of the first batch of MiC modules for the SS N520 public housing project in Hong Kong was held in Zhaoqing. Government representatives including Ho Wing-yin, Secretary for Housing of Hong Kong, and Wong On-wah, Director of Project Planning of the Architectural Services Department, as well as over 50 representatives from project participants including Jiang Li, Deputy General Manager of CSCEC Industrial, and Kwong Chan-do, Chairman of AluHouse, witnessed the completion of the first batch of MiC modules and conducted an in-depth inspection and research at the project's production frontline.

Ho Wing-yin fully affirmed the achievements of the project team. She stated that the Simple Public Housing Project is a significant livelihood initiative by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government to address the housing needs of grassroots citizens, which will help countless grassroots citizens improve their living conditions and is very meaningful. The Hong Kong Simple Public Housing SS N520 Project (hereinafter referred to as the "Project") requires the production of approximately 16,000 MiC modules in total, representing a substantial amount of work. She hopes that the project team will continue to work together, using high-standard, high-quality MiC modules to build happy homes for the people of Hong Kong.

Wong On-wah stated that this project marks the first time the Hong Kong Architectural Services Department has directly contracted MiC construction and transportation. It is an important practice in the transformation and upgrading of Hong Kong's construction industry as well as in promoting innovative development, providing replicable contract management experience for more MiC projects in Hong Kong and the Greater Bay Area. He hopes that the project team will continue to adhere to goal-oriented principles, organise meticulously and plan thoroughly, ensure quality control and risk management, and advance all aspects of the project according to the established plan, so that grassroots citizens can move into new homes at an early date.

Chiang Li stated that the project team will continue to leverage the “International Standards + Hong Kong Regulations + Greater Bay Area Intelligent Manufacturing” model, fully utilising its management advantages in technical systems, intelligent manufacturing, and digital acceptance. The team will organise production scientifically, strictly control product quality, closely monitor the three critical delivery milestones of the project, and contribute to the creation of high-quality, simple public housing as part of the happiness and livelihood projects, helping Hong Kong residents achieve stable and prosperous living as soon as possible.

Kuang Chendao stated that 2025 will be a major year for project production and delivery. The project team will fully leverage the complementary advantages of the joint venture team in technology, resources, and management, working closely with the Architectural Services Department, consulting firms, and contractors to ensure the project is built as a high-quality undertaking that can withstand historical scrutiny and public evaluation, fulfilling the government's mandate and meeting the expectations of citizens.

The Hong Kong Simple Public Housing SS N520 Project (hereinafter referred to as the "Project") is an important part of the Hong Kong Simple Public Housing Scheme. It is constructed by a joint venture of China State Construction Engineering Green Technology and Aluminium Youjia, and will provide nearly 16,000 MiC modules for the four sites at Siu Lam Lok Arrangement, Tuen Mun Area 54, Chai Wan Cheung On Street / Cheung Ping Street, and Ma On Shan Hang Kwong Street, offering a total of nearly 13,000 residential units.

項目目前已在中建科工惠州智能制造基地、鋁遊家肇慶制造基地全面啟動MiC模塊批量制造，將於2025年第二季開始陸續交付，項目建成後將有效縮短香港基層有迫切住屋需要的市民輪候公屋時間。
